Participants at the first ORION Meeting

Present for the first start-up meeting were IMBC Director, Professor E.Zouros,  Professor A.Eleftheriou, the scientific leader Mrs M.Eleftheriou, the Project Manager, and Mr M. Stafanakis, Librarian, from the Institute of Marine Biology of Crete. From TEREUS, SA, Athens, lead technical partner, were Mr C. Hapsiades and Mr.P. Delphis from TEREUS S.A., Athens.  From the National Centre for Marine Research, Athens, came Dr. E. Papathanassiou and Mrs Sofia Goulala, Chief Librarian. Dr. G. Mousakitis represented the Department of Zoology, University of Cork, Dr. J. Norberg was the delegate from the Department of Ecological Systems, Stockholm. Mr Courtney Hough, Secretary General of the Federation of European Aquaculture Producers (FEAP) attended the meeting, as did Ms Erin McVeigh from AMC Ltd., Ireland. Apologies were received from Dr.M.T.Dinis, Department of Aquaculture, University of Algarve who could not attend due to prior commitments.
