Research on the seven trout farm impact upon discharged water quality were done in 2001 and 2002. The suspended solids, BOD5, COD, total ammonia and phosphorus in inlet and outlet water during 24 hours were monitored. In no case the increase above allowed values were observed, which proved the effective use of sedimentation ponds.
