Dr. Horn presented "Marine Research - A Norwegian Priority". Briefly, the presentation give an overview of aquaculture R&D in Norway, present activities and future plans, levels and modes of funding  

Dr. Lars Horn is theDirector & Marine R&D Coordinator of theResearch Council of Norway

Education: B.Sc., Marine Engineering, University of Newcastle, England.

Experience: Varied technical and administrative experience from shipowning and engineering companies related to shipping and oil and gas exploration prior to employment in the Research Council. Present responsibilities in the Council include administration, coordination of Marine R&D and planning and financing of research .
