In the lagoon environment the shellfish farmer's work will involve the use of boats and vessels to carry out his/her tasks, therefore good maintenance and control of these boats/vessels is vital. TrainingFor this sector there is currently only a few training initiatives provided by the Public Administration and ESF (Aquaculture in the Lagoon and in Shellfish Farming). Consequently, training initiatives are mainly designed, organised, implemented and funded by private companies interested in such activities.
